Rigleia was born in Belo Horizonte, Brazil. Belo Horizonte is the capital of the state of Minas Gerais, Brazil's second-most populous state. It is the first planned modern city in Brazil.

Whilst living in Brazil, Rigleia developed her passion for baking from a very early age when all family members had to contribute to the day to day cooking of her household.

​

As she grew up in a large family, she really enjoyed baking sweets for all nephews and nieces. As time passed and they were all appreciating the quality and variety of her cooking, she decided to profound her knowledge and enrolled in various baking courses whilst in Brazil.

Having moved to the UK 19 years ago, she carried on with her passion for baking and today, Rigleia specializes in wedding and birthday cakes as well as savoury snacks and sweets for large events.
